The Trigger

As I continue to read, I find out there are so many triggers to allergic reactions and asthma. Eggs are good protein, but they contain something that causes allergies. Other foods are milk, fruits and salads. The list of things to watch out for also includes foods with preservatives. While I am no doctor, I do know the more I read it seems as if everything causes something. That is probably why I am more cautious about jumping on the medication bandwagon.

I read an interesting article about allergist who treats asthma and other allergies immunotherapy shots. I like this idea and consider it to be reasonable, not to mention you will find out which seasonal allergies you or your child has at the same time. The process is simple also. Schedule an appointment with an allergist who will test to see what is causing the immune system to overreact; which leads to asthma attacks or severe allergies. The doctor will administer small amounts of what causes the allergy and over time the body builds up immunity and stops overreacting. This is something we are going to look into soon.

To meet this treatment gets to the root cause of the situation and provides a natural means for the body to fight back, as well as learn not to overreact. I don’t know about you, but trying this is a whole lot better than not giving your child milk or eggs.
