Pray for America

Sunday, October 01, 2017

President Trump spent much of the day Saturday speaking with the governors of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands in preparation for his visit. He will continue to plan for the upcoming trip and meet with leaders regarding aid for the recovery efforts.
The president voiced his frustration at news agencies for not fairly covering the relief efforts of FEMA, military personnel, and others. This trend has plagued past administrations as well. President Bush was criticized for how the government responded after Katrina and many disapproved of Obama’s handling of Sandy. Today, President Trump said that he is preparing for the tough job at hand and is making decisions to help millions of desperate people. In such no-win scenarios, the job of president becomes unimaginably difficult.

As the Lord Leads, please pray:

  • For the president as he has to make tough decisions in the midst of criticism
  • For the people of Puerto Rico as they are still in desperate need.
  • For all aid workers as they work to rebuild.
We provide these suggested prayer items to help you intercede for our president and the issues our commander-in-chief faces each day. We trust that you will also pray for all our leaders, asking for God's wisdom and for His will to be done.” – The Presidential Prayer Team
