My most recent reading online about the drug Singular was by a pediatrician after the FDA sent out a notice about the drug "could cause" mood disorders and/or lead to suicide. I am still looking for additional information from parents to help me with my decision.
While my son has not had another attack, I have the medicine in the cabinet. That should tell you how on the fence I am about presecription medications --- if they are not needed. I don't want to raise children that are dependent upon medications to get through life. Life is tough, I don't want them to go through it thinking there is a pill for everything.
So, do I try this or not? Right now, both children are taking Allegra-D and Claritin. One is a prescription and one over-the-counter. We are continuing to monitor the situation and praying about these conditions, because it could be a matter of adjusting to the new environment; which includes new plants, air, etc.
