Fear vs. Faith

"Fear not" is in the bible a little over 100 times. The hardest thing in the world for yourself or others is to fear not; especially when your world seems to be falling apart and you have no control over the disaster that has just come your way.

I am now 40 and understand fear not to be praying through and having faith that whatever is in your life (trouble or situation) is there for a reason. It is our cue to turn to God and remember that He is the only one to bring us "through the fire without even the smell of smoke." I have indeed lived this and decided to have blind faith and truly the Lord delivered on his promises to me.

If you are asking what promises? I want to share some with you.

Psalms 50:15 - And call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you and you will honor Me.”

Isaiah 54: 14-17. In righteousness you will be establish; you will be far from oppression, for you will not fear; And from terror, for it will not come near you. If anyone fiercely assails you it will not be from Me. Whoever assails you will fall because of you. Behold, I Myself have created the smith who blows the fire of coals, and brings out a weapon for its work; And I have created the destroyer to ruin. No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their vindication is from Me declares the Lord.

I awake everyday and declare that No Weapon Formed against Us Will Prosper. I cover my family with the blood of Jesus and walk forward knowing that God is my way maker and He is a promise keeper.
