God equips us to do whatever He calls us to do. When God commands, our job is to listen and obey. He anoints us to accomplish whatever He commands. The anointing of God is the Holy Spirit. The anointing of the Holy Spirit is given to people to demonstrate God's love and power. Christ means the "Anointed One". Because Christ is in us the same anointing that He had on earth we have in us also.
Luke 4:18-19 NKJV says, "The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me to preach the Gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed. To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD." Our lives are not our own and our will must be submitted to the will of God in order for to experience the joy and favor of the Lord. It does not mean we will not have bad days, but it means we will be fully equipped and blessed to handle whatever comes our way.
Isaiah 54: 17 says, No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord. The weapons are the things that come at you to bring you low, via a person or words. They are attacks by the enemy on our lives. This scripture does not promise we will have a trouble free life. It promises that whatever comes against us will not proper. Though it formed, it will not prosper in what it was sent to do. Thank the Lord for this weapon to use against all the things in life that come against you and for the Word that says we can condemn anything said in judgment against us.
Pray for wisdom, because the Bible says we should ask for wisdom. The anointing of the Lord gives wisdom as in the following :
(1 John 2:20 NKJV) But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.
(1 John 2:27 NKJV) But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.
(Isaiah 11:2 NKJV) The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.
(Daniel 12:3 NKJV) Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever.
(Proverbs 11:30 NKJV) The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise.
(Psalms 90:12 NKJV) So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.
Father in Heaven, thank you for Your Word which is wisdom and a weapon to use in the warfare against us daily. Daily our mercies are renewed by you and daily we need You to guide, lead and protect us. Lord, fill me with your Holy Spirit so that I may receive all You have planned and purposed for my life. Help me walk in obedience to you all the days of my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
